[News] - HPJ-1000 poor output frequency due to antenna problems
Hi, I am in Australia & have the HPJ-1000 which is a great unit. however the antennas have spun around when fixing them to unit and as a result the unit is experiencing poor output/distance in jamming. i have tried to re-solder the wires etc. however to no evail. They seem to be very straight forward antennas as in no circutry etc. and have replaced all the wire and sma fittings and replaced in original housing, but still cant get the range i had. Replacement antennas are being sent from Michael at Jammer Store in three weeks, however i need to use urgently in the meantime. what am i doing wrong with the repair of antennas? contounuity is ok on each unit, the length of wire was the same, but it may have been a couple of millimetres either way on length differance from original ones. how critical is the length factor? and can i use 4 of the same antennas that are 3db omni directional whip antennas frequency range is 824-960Mhz 1920-2170Mhz, Impedance -50 Ohm, VSWR less than 2, Gain 2.5dBi (824-960Mhz) 3 dBi (1920-2170Mhz), Polarization - Vertical, Radiation -Omni, Max power input-Watts -50W. or does someone have a temporary alternative to increase the output to a minimum of 5 metre radius at least. or can someone tell me in lamen terms what to check with my multimetre maybe the resistance to determine my right length etc... ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED... CHEERS
Hello DCEXCAVATIONS!
We are working on the solution of your antenna problem and we will send everything necessary really soon. The length of the wire between the oscillator and the antennas may be sometimes critical, so we do not recommend to experiment with that. |
